Non-Invasive Research

The Elephant Sanctuary supports non-invasive research of both captive elephants and their wild counterparts living in Asia and Africa.

Recently, several prominent and respected researchers spoke out for the welfare of elephants living in captivity. These are individuals who have contributed enormously to our understanding of elephants by conducting research in a non-invasive manner.
