When Sissy and Winkie first came to the Sanctuary last year, shy and insecure, they did not feel comfortable with this activity which elephants traditionally relish. So they remained apart when the others took to the pond and creeks.

How they've progressed in confidence!! With a new sense of freedom and comfort, they are now taking to the creek like ducks (or elephants!) in a pond.
