Fairview friends happy to feed the elephants

The Elephant Sanctuary’s inaugural Christmas Tree Collection campaign received an amazing response – thanks to some special Fairview friends.

Fairview’s David Dodoro volunteered to collect several loads of donated Christmas trees from area residents and businesses after the holiday. “It was really fun,” shared Dodoro of the experience which allowed him to make some new friends and support a good cause.

Dodoro says he initially saw a Facebook post by another local resident Elizabeth Sexton, talking about the need for more "feed" and collection of Christmas Trees for the elephants. While Dodoro had previously donated money in support of the sanctuary, he said, “I knew this would be another great way to participate.”
