Mother, daughter raise money for elephant sanctuary

AMITY TWP., Pa. - An ordinary car ride between a 7-year-old girl and her mother took a heartwarming turn.

"When [Ainsley] found out that elephants were endangered and are probably going to be extinct within our lifetime, she was very sad, so she said that she's going to figure out a way one day to save the elephants," Hayley Crouse, of Amity Township, told 69 News.

Crouse is a fabric and clothing designer. She began teaching her daughter, Ainsley, to sew since she was 3.
