Nosey finds permanent home at sanctuary
It's official. Nosey the elephant, once called "the world's saddest elephant," has been officially "adopted" by The Elephant Sanctuary in Nashville, Tenn.
Nosey has been at the sanctuary since she was seized from Great American Circus owner Hugo Liebel in neighboring Lawrence County in 2017. Now, three years later, The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee has been given full custody of the 38-year-old Loxodonta africana, more commonly known as the African elephant.
