Party for the Planet with The Elephant Sanctuary

Join The Elephant Sanctuary in celebrating our natural world with a month-long Party for the Planet! We’ll kick things off on Earth Day β€” Thursday, April 22 at 12 p.m. CDT β€” with a virtual presentation and Q&A hosted by our Education Team! Tune in live on our Facebook page to learn just how critical elephants are to the health of their wild habitats. If you can't make the live event, be sure to catch the replay on our YouTube channel.

Each week leading up to Endangered Species Day (May 21), we challenge you to connect with your natural habitat and practice conservation in your own neighborhood with interactive activities! Participate in the weekly activity prompt, post a photo to your social media profile and tag us (or email elephant@elephants.com), and you could be randomly selected to receive a free reusable tote bag! Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter β€” activities will be posted to our social profiles each week. Here's a preview of the schedule:

🌏 April 23: Eat like an Elephant with a plant-based diet
🌏 April 30: Neighborhood Cleanup
🌏 May 7: Nature Walk
🌏 May 14: Recycled EleCraft

We'll close our month-long celebration on May 21 β€” Endangered Species Day β€” with one more chance to join us LIVE as we talk about the conservation status of each elephant species and what we can all do to protect them. There’s only one planet that’s home to elephants β€” let's work together to protect it!
