We have very exciting news to share: African elephant Mikki and Asian elephant Punch will be moving to The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee from the Louisville Zoo!
The move is currently planned for spring of 2025. We are grateful to the Louisville Zoo for making this difficult decision and look forward to working with them as we prepare to welcome Mikki and Punch.
The zoo's elephant care team has begun the process of acclimating Mikki and Punch to the transportation process. We will keep supporters updated as plans develop.
